--Author Statement Explaining Format Choice--

I chose to write GTA: Wanted, Dead or Alive in a cinematic dramatic style because I wanted the story to feel alive-something the reader experiences like a film unfolding in real time, rather than a traditional block of descriptive prose. Not everyone reads novels easily, and many modern readers keep short attention spans; this format allows the story to move with clarity, rhythm, and emotional immediacy, without sacrificing depth or world-building.

My storytelling approach is closer to the literary tradition of plays and dramatic epics - works like Macbeth, Hamlet, and Othello - where characters reveal themselves through action and spoken word, and the scene itself provides meaning. The structure is episodic by design, allowing each chapter to stand as its own story while contributing to a larger narrative arc with rising stakes and thematic continuity.

This is not a screenplay meant for production.
This is dramatic literature meant to be read, visualized, and emotionally experienced.
A long-form story told through cinematic rhythm - meant to pull the reader into the moment, every moment.
