I write Harry Potter stories. 
The plot lines that I like to write tend to follow Harry and Snape's tricky journey towards a tentative relationship, eventually a deep trust. 

I like to include Ron and Hermione as strong characters in their own right - they're interesting characters with depth, which I find isn't really explored enough in HP stories. They're more than just Harry's supportive friends! 

I'm a stickler for 'correct' (I'm trying not to be a prescriptivist but I do have standards when writing 🫣) grammar, and British punctuation and spellings. 

You will find no Americanisms in my books, nor cliché character descriptions; - you know the type, where the beautiful girl has self confidence issues, is somehow ignorant of how popular she is, and has all these powers she knows not 🙄 Nah, we need REAL PEOPLE characters with all the ugly human traits that make books interesting. If Severus Snape was highly attractive and classically wounded, instead of greasy and antisocial, his character wouldn't be so loved. And yet people lean towards presenting him like that? Ohh the irony.
