I write contemporary YA fantasy. I have two current series: Faery (Faery Unexpected | Lexie's Choice) and Dani Erickson's short stories (Demon Daze | School Daze).

I read a LOT! I love fantasy, but I also read science fiction and historical fiction. Time travel stories are a kick. My all time favorite series is Harry Potter by JK Rowling. Gryffindor forever!

I love all of the LOTR movies, and adore Smaug in The Hobbit. Most of the Harry Potter movies are good ... but the books are WAY better!

I collect dragons (I have two who can ride on my shoulder ... just like Roddy in "Faery Unexpected"), drive a Mustang, and love my bull mastiff.
