Hi everyone, I'm gonna address a few complaints from readers here and others outside of Wattpad of the "it was all in 'le head" endings, and I get where these complaints are coming from, and I understand why the endings can feel frustrating—especially for readers who get emotionally invested. Both this story and The Downward Spiral of Maya Schoppenboer were meant as fun Halloween experiments, a way for me to practice and challenge myself with original storytelling within the realm of fanfiction (which I still plan to transition away from eventually once I'm comfortable with practicing through fanfiction).

Truthfully, I don’t enjoy writing tragic endings, especially when the crossover elements are unusual. Whenever I create a chaotic or horror-driven plot that leads to major character deaths, I feel like the only way to “close” that energy is through something surreal and disappointingly stupid, like the cliche “it was all just a dream” trick. Recently I tried playing around with ambiguous endings too, but since most readers didn’t pick up on the ambiguity, that experiment didn’t land the way I hoped.

That said, I hear your criticisms, and I’ll take it seriously. Not every reader will vibe with those kinds of endings, no matter what my reasons are—and that’s fair. I appreciate the feedback regardless. I appreciate them more than the praises I've received for these stories.

To make it up to those who weren’t satisfied, I’m already planning the next fanfic after being inspired by another piece of media—usually I make fanfictions for Halloween, but the criticism inspired me to make something special—and this one will feature Coco. I think for those who criticized those endings will enjoy it and be satisfied. And don’t worry—there won’t be any “it was all in 'le head” twists or vague ambiguous endings like in Maya’s Downward Spiral story. Promise!

And I encourage everyone to point out any criticisms or feedback you guys have! I don't just write for your entertainment, I also want to get better at writing for your entertainment :)
