actually update involving my writing and my books. as you all have noticed i haven’t really written in a while due to some mental stuff but i’ve been in a better mind recently, working on getting moved out and have been getting back into my hobbies and actually enjoying stuff i like.
          
          one of which being lotr which im writing a fic for (haven’t decided who’ll be the love interest(s) yet but i’ve gotten most of the prologue done and considering i have been writing i think it’s pretty decent. 
          
          i’m gonna work on meet me in the woods, might rewrite it since most of it was written 3 years ago when i was 16. also got a werewolf tcm fic in the drafts that might be published in the next few days.
          
          hopefully i can stay in this good mind, i miss my writing and miss interacting with y’all

went with my boyfriend and saw woman in the yard and it was amazing, honestly pissed off no one is talking about it. great movie that does an AMAZING job at symbolizing survivors guilt, depression and how those things change a person without it being weird about it. seriously recommend seeing it

people talking abt david corenswet being a downgrade playing superman piss me off, that man is so FINE and i feel like he’s gonna do a better job at being clark, like henry cavill is a handsome man and did good playing SUPERMAN but imo he was too much of a hunk, he wasn’t nerdy enough as clark. from what i’ve seen of david he’s got a good awkward nerdy clark

@SkilarNight4 exactly, feel like movies have all been rushed but especially superhero movies, personally i didn’t really like the past dc and marvel movies have sucked. and then hearing all the people bitch about the more decent stuff coming out now is driving me insane, like the pattinson batman was amazing, it felt like an early batman-era bruce wayne, and people complained about it!

@Decaying_opossum exactly, lknow what you mean, he not meant to be like some emo type edgy guy, I'm glad they are finally sticking to the basics, if you know what I mean, like dude, all these movies nowadays are so rushed, this one feels like it's got time put into it, I cannot wait!!!

@SkilarNight4 he does! like he’s got the classic comic book look,  and then the new clips they released with krypto, and even the actor talking about krypto and superman’s relationship, im just so damn excited for this movie. from what theyve released it looks like a classic superman stuff. i feel like all the newer, weirdly edgy superman stuff has messed up people’s views of him, clark is supposed to be a nerd and superman is supposed to be like good boy superhero, ya know? he shouldn’t be edgy

@SkilarNight4 they were EXTREMELY over dramatic lmao i think it was just folks going in to watch it without knowing what it was and just “oh i saw this from tiktok”, which if that is the case i do understand why people would be upset, especially (idk if you’ve seen it) the mall scene and the mom scene were kinda rough

this hurricane season is starting off fucking rough this year, and the amount of people without common sense and empathy is SICK ‘oh why not just leave??’ ‘why didn’t they just leave they knew it was gonna happen??’ you’re instant reaction to people losing EVERYTHING, including their families is to blame them???? i live in central nc abt 2 hours away from the mountains where it hit bad and we’re doing our best to send supplies and people up there to help, ive talked to ppl who have been back and forth all week helping and they all talk abt the smell of ROT that’s starting to come from the people they haven’t been able to find, that is how bad it is up there, they have no water, food, clothing, housing, NOTHING and people wanna sit there and blame them for ‘not leaving’ it’s fucking sick
