I went to go see Hosoda’s movie Belle and I cried three times, the music and animation were so beautiful and as I listen to the soundtrack I feel glad I’m alive

Please tell me something about your writing that makes you excited! I want to be excited with you!

You say that’s a reason you like writing original content, but that’s also one of the reasons I like writing Vocaloid fanfiction! There’s  no canon I have to check in with when it comes to personality and development so I get to do whatever I want there. I think that’s why I’ll never write a serious fic for any other fandom haha. You gotta love your characters and love working with your them if writing is gonna be any fun. Creating a solid background and interesting past for a character is so much fun and connecting it to the narrative is an exciting challenge. Thanks for sharing such a good answer!

@Dedicant Honestly I love developing my characters and watching them grow over the course of my story! Writing about how they react to different situations, other characters, how they respond to past events in their life and how those events shape who they are in the current timeline of the story - that's really what gets me attached to my characters and makes me want to write about them. 
            
            I think that's why I enjoyed writing originals so much, because I could build a character up from the ground and shape them how I wanted. In many cases, they'd end up slightly different from what I initially imagined them as, and that's beautiful in it's own way! Even when reading stories, I love seeing unique characters grow <3

I bought some Vocaloid stickers to celebrate certain fic achievements and I got a bonus sticker of this character I didn’t recognize. 
          
          In other words, today I learned that Ia and One’s mother figure is some sort of weird space cat spirit thing called Neko-san?? Vocal synth lore is constantly surprising to me, haha

It’s supposed to rain all day tomorrow! I’m happy. I’m currently writing a scene that takes place on a rainy day. It’s all clutching onto doorways and gentle reassurance and hand holding fluff. I want to sit outside under a porch roof and take off my glasses and listen and daydream. I hope it’s still raining in the evening when I have free time,,
