She's gone :-( I have been reading a story for a couple of years. The Author decided to end the story and move on. Although I wish her the best! I miss seeing her book in my list.

A great story I've been reading. It doesn't have very many reads. I just thought I would share.

Hi @DeeDee7701! Thank you so much for the love on The World that whispered her name! Seeing it in your reading list and following my profile made my day. Happy reading! ✨ Best regards, @jigglypuffbae

There are times I wish I could attach pictures to my conversations. I've had some sketchy messages sent to me when I first got on wattpad, so I can understand. I may want to read about it, but I don't want to see actual pictures ( ゚ェ゚)

Happy Holidays to everyone!

My poor tablet is showing signs of dying (。ŏ﹏ŏ)
I bought a new one about 6 months ago, when poor Ms. Tablet started showing some concerning signs. The thing is, I bought a cheap one. It gets super hot while charging. So I need to be careful. I don't do anything important on it. I keep it around for the grandkids. If they break it, oh well.
I learned my lesson. The one I am using has lasted 3.5 years. And it is just an off brand, Wally world one. I really don't want to spend money on myself right before Christmas. I have Wattpad on my phone under a different name, so I can still read when I'm out. But for home, I need the big print (☉。☉). Enough of the perils of DeeDee. TTFN

@ChubbyLiv I like the way you think! I am a bit more practical than that (unfortunately). My daughter is getting my furnace looked at for me. It's been on the fritz. AC works, but heat doesn't. And we woke up to about 2 inches of snow this morning. And temps in the 20's F. I need that more than a tablet (。•́︿•̀。)

Hi, I was happily reading your story and it's gone. Did you take it down?
shawnabowman40
@DeeDee7701 thank you, apparently my app hates me and everytime I tried to click on the person with the book it took me to your page. I guess that's why I just assumed you were the author. Lol yes we have many books in common. But ty! And sorry for the mistake.

@shawnabowman40 I believe you are mistaken. I don't have any published stories. I do comment on others works often. I actually recognize your name because we read a lot of the same stories. I hope you find the story you are looking for.

Hello! Sorry to come into your message board unannounced. I have a story I’m writing at the moment which follows a Dragon king and his human bride in a marriage-of-convenience style book, with lots of steamy scenes, high stakes, and heartache. If you’re a lover of fantasy romances then this book is definitely for you.
I'm a reputable author who has other books with hundreds of thousands of reads, but since this one is a relatively new title not many people have seen it yet, hence the promotion! I’m hoping it may be of interest to you, and if not, then I’m sorry again for disturbing you.
Here is the link to the book if you’re interested: https://www.wattpad.com/story/397556793-the-dragon-king%27s-bride-an-18%2B-dark-fantasy

I miss your updates! ಥ‿ಥ
For reference, I'm from the U.S.A. (In today's world, don't hold that against me. I sure as hell can't control my government.)
Maybe that's why I am fascinated with transmigration stories....
Anywho, said that to explain, North of the equator. Summer time for me.
I know Wattpad is world wide. But, most of the stories I follow have just about quit doing updates. I noticed that many of the authors mention that they have midterms and finales. So, I think it would be reasonable to assume that they are students.
I guess, if I were in their shoes, I would enjoy my break as well.
Just know, your updates and new chapters are missed!
P.S.
For being students AND many of you are not native English speakers; You All Are AWESOME! ヾ(*’O’*)/

Same here. I hated school at the time. It's not a comfortable place for an introvert. Now I wish I could go back and have a "do over"! I always had my head stuck in a book. Unfortunately, it wasn't my study books. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I did well the last couple of years of school. Before that, I did 'just enough'.

I'm stewing on a subject. When an author puts a plug for their own book in the comments of another authors work.
Is it tacky and shameless?
I've received personal messages inviting me to check out an author's story. It was a similar genre to a story I was reading and actively commenting on. That was fine.
But, if you're reading a werewolf dark romance, and someone pops into the comments "Check out my My Hero Academia fanfiction!". ಠ_ಠ
Huh?
Even if it's the same genre, I personally feel, that you are trying to ride the other authors 'coat tails' and benefit from their hard work and talent.
Random thoughts as I sit here looking out the window on a rainy Thursday.
(Sigh)
Hope you have a wonderful day.

@ChubbyLiv I was much more critical when I first got on here as well. But, I did it here in my personal conversations. I also never called an author out. I just did it anonymously. 'Things that drive me crazy in a story ' type things. I guess that's what I'm still doing. LoL

@DeeDee7701 You can always share your ideas of the story and get some insight from your followers. Unique starts are definitely hard to come up with, so don't get discouraged by it.

@DeeDee7701 You should definitely share more of your thoughts as you read. (^^)d I read a lot too, but don't dare to be as critical as I used to be. I remember writing ranting reviews in the past, and they were so therapeutic to me but probably traumatic to lots of authors. I ended up deleting it. (;゚∇゚)
