I've been recommended the cutscenes from the game Pragmata by the youtube algorithm. I really found it to be fun. I don't know what it is, robot/AI characters learning about aspects of humanity brings about this earnestness and wonder directed at the most mundane of things which makes it so satisfying. It is also existential in a way. The movie 'The Wild robot' for example. That's some deep stuff. This trope really works. Keep at it :)

"Blank Slate" is two-thirds done. Now I have written everything I had planned for. This will be a novella.. max 4 more chapters.. probably less.
This story , while not for everyone, is the one I have used as an opportunity to thank the few people who have stuck with me across the three books I've written.

Just finished reading "How The Chicken Little Nuggets Won It All"
The book is so emotionally complete. This was the same expression I had used in the comments of one of the other books that Kate had written.

I'm a middle aged guy (now, officially!) who does not seek out romance novels. But this isn't just a romance novel. It explores every human feeling that exists.
It feels like an auto-biography of a group of people who overcame all adversities, learning to be themselves, navigating through lives and learning from experiences and becoming better for it. The book feels real, genuine and lived in.

I couldn't stop reading this when the book reached the final stretch. It would suffice to say I enjoyed it.

Congrats to the author. Hopefully it's an inspiring movie someday.

Also the frame of mind this puts me in makes it difficult to write my own book :D

Feel free to checkout the other books in my "Completed" reading list. I think I have read at least 50 Wattpad books (whole or more than half) at this point. Hopefully, will be reading more books that linger after the last word is read, like this one :)

@DeejayDJ010 thank you so much for reading and for your kind words, Deejay! I promise I will respond to your comments once life slows down a bit. Your thoughts and support mean the world to me, thank you for sticking through the romance and the rereading part of it.

I am turning 30 today lol.. and still it's all a blur looking back :D

3 years in Wattpad too.. Should've joined earlier but hey... 3 stories in three years isn't that bad considering I don't have many ideas. But thanks to the platform that I had some of the most fun conversations that I've ever had, some friends were made along the way :)

And after they nixed the chat feature, I got into Discord and been part of The Writing Hoard community for 2 years now lol. Time flies. I've been an avid reader of some of the books by the current and former community members even before I joined, and I like the initiatives that have taken to build a collaborative and fun place in general and as a writing hub.

(Let's see how the mandatory face recognition from Discord is going to go. Hate that internet cannot be your escape anymore)

I was going to make a planned announcement next week (nothing big, I am not leaving Wattpad :P ) , but now that I've just finished reading this book, I wanted to do it.

The book has this ability to make readers feel transported to whatever adventure or out of the world occurrences that the book throws at us. That I believe is key for making a fantasy book work. This series of books is ridiculously entertaining, the humor is on point, the plot keeps thickening. It doesn't take itself seriously, but is serious in terms of consistency with internal logic. It's a whole package.

Check out Malignant, Maniacal, it's prequel and it's spin-off(which I am reading)..

Been a while since making a post. I haven't even read on Wattpad this month. At the lowest point professionally and that's consuming time.

To a single handful of people who still read my stuff, "Blank space" will continue when I get the time to think about it. It is an experimental work, more to write for the sake of writing. But thanks for the support :)
(I am no stranger to writing for a brick wall, my deleted blogs *coughs*)

The other two books are good enough stories if I say so myself. Feel free to check those out if you want.

P.S. Paramount, please don't buy WB. Even if I lose theatres in the process.

@eyhuff Thanks for the support.. yeah I need to do something about the work thing

Finally caught up with this wonderful book, "Malignant, Maniacal" of the Iridescent series. It's one of the series in Wattpad that I have made it a point to catch up whenever there is an update to the best of my ability and it delivered. Writing wise and character growth wise, the sequel expands on the first book in every possible way.
Congrats to the author on completion
