Hi there! Sorry for not responding sooner. I don’t check my board often and your questions got clogged in my notifications.
            
            I had tons of reasons of why I took it down. This ranges from not feeling any attachments to the fic, feeling competitive or “threatened” to other Turning Red fics, feeling embarrassed about some of the topics in the fics because I felt as if I was being insensitive about it (example being the kidnapping scenarios), etc. At one point, it kinda ruined Turning Red for me entirely. 
            
            I don’t want this to feel like reading it was a bad thing. I’m glad that people liked it. Reading fresh comments about it while I was at school (and still writing it) is a memory I want to experience again and again. But that was over a year ago.
            
            I knew taking it down would upset people, but I wanted some peace with myself. A fic shouldn’t be making me feel like trash.
            
            The good news is that the fic isn’t truly deleted and I simply drafted it, meaning it’s still salvageable. I haven’t figured out what to do with the fic that also doesn’t feel like a burden on my part.
