Hey everyone!
I'll let you in on a little secret.  My name's isn't Laney but like my friends Marjoree and Alden, whose story I tell in my debut novel, Life Lines and Laugh Lines, I am pretending to be someone else for a change.  After all, isn't that why we're all here, to put aside our own problems and immerse ourselves in someone else's? 
What I can tell you is that I'm a girl of many hobbies. I love riding horse, skiing, and geocaching, in different season's of course... As far as reading goes, I'm a sucker for sap.  My favorite chick flicks are The Vow and Safe Haven. But as much as I love a good tearjerker, I also like to practice my sleuthing skills by picking up a good mystery.  My life right now feels like a puzzle with misshaped pieces I have to try and make fit all together. So that is what I'll do with my characters, try to make their scattered lives reflect a picture.  I don't promise it will be a beautiful one, but I can tell you I will do my best to help them assemble a realistic picture.
