Hey, I just posted a Harry Potter fan fiction: In the Midst of the Storm. I created it because I realized there are two things I rarely( well, never) see in fanfictions: fan fics about life before Harry was born and fan fictions about Hogwarts Professors not students. I can't believe it!!! I wrote a short story for class( which I haven't posted on here) and I really liked it. Then, without asking me, my mother sent it to an author from our church( AN ACTUAL AUTHOR) and she LOVED it!!! She wants to meet with me and talk about my story, and she's going to send me her short story and listen to my opinion and ideas about it!!! An author. Just asked. My opinion. On her short story. And, more importantly, loved mine. AND, she and my Mom suggested I make it into a novel and publish it!!!!!!! I can't believe this is happening! I'm going to be an author!!! The story is super ambitious so I'm trying to tackle such a huge project. And Im so excited!! :D
