Stay with me now
It has been about 2 years since she died, and I never got to tell her how I felt.
Her name was Sadi and we were 13 years old and everyday we spent together we grew closer. We have been best friends since she moved here in grade 1, I can still remember the first day we met...
I was playing out side with a toy helicopter when I my mom came out side saying that some one was moving in across the street. She told me to go and offer to help them, I gave her the look you give your mom when you don't want to do something. But she won that argument of course, I ended up over on there yard just standing there when they came out side to grab some more boxes. "Hi I'm Ryder" I said as I said in a loud but quiet voice, they smiled at me and grabbed there dauter who was about a year younger then me and introduced her to me. I asked if they needed any help, they shook their heads and said that they should be good. But then they asked me if I would like to stay and play with Sadi, and are faces just lit up like a Christmas tree.
We goofed of for awhile until my mom came and nocked on the door saying it was time to come home. I looked over at Sadi and asked her if she was going to start coming to school with me. And her mom said that she wa starting tomorrow. I smiled at said that I could come over in the morning and grab her, sadi looked at her mom "please" I don't think her mom would say no to that. And I was right.
it was about 7am and I knocked on the door, Sadis mom answers and said that she was still in bed, I asked if I could go wake her up.
I walked into her room, it was a maze to get to her bed because of all the boxes everywhere. "Sadi, sadi" I said as I was shaking her shoulders
She opens her eyes and asked what time it was, I told her that we had to be at school in 20 minutes. She looked at me in a weird way like she didn't know what was going on, then she snapped out of it.
