23 year old aspiring author based in New Jersey. I finished my first MS last year and I'm now on the road to self publishing. (The WD conference in NY taught me a lot, but unfortunately I was unable to land a literary agent.) My first novel will be a *lite* political sci-fi, heavily influenced by Prison Break, Friday Night Lights, and X-Men. I listed movies because I'm a highly visual person. And while I do love imagery, there's something about telling a story and the challenge of using dialogue tags and words to captivate a reader that draws me in. Even though my debut will be a sci-fi, I dabble in different genres. And once I'm done with this series, I plan to write other works in romance, comedy etc. My first work of art that will be published up here is a "short story" - a romance.
