Almus's Gift is the first novel that I am currently writing. I hold my religious beliefs (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) close to heart and desired to write a book based on my own experiences. Yes, the events that take place have obviously never happened. Yet the wisdom that many characters share with Almus and the emotions that Almus shows are relevant to me. The main message of this story is self-responsibility, change, and a fathers love. Although there are some with whom he is not well pleased, I'm a firm believer that God truly loves his children unconditionally nevertheless.
