So, fun fact about Benny:
His parents had a kid before him. She was this really driven kid-- knew what she wanted since like the fifth grade-- and tore it up at school, graduated valedictorian, prized pupil, continued to be awesome and hardworking in college and through law school, blah blah blah. So Benny comes along way behind her (he was in elementary school while she was in high school) and his parents kind of expected the same thing of him. And he was kind of a genius-- he started reading medical books when he was in the fifth grade-- but he wasn't motivated like his sister. He didn't see the point of giving it his all when his 45% would get him by just fine. His parents were kind of disappointed. And actually, if he hadn't gotten sucked into the game, he probably would have gone through medical school only to immediately start working with clinics and doing small-time stuff. He'd probably be kind of poor, but he'd be happy, once he got over his parents' disappointment at what they called "wasted potential" and his sister's nagging that he could do better.
