They’re now taking away private messages between accounts. Wattpad has just killed the social aspect that many people enjoyed this platform for. It’s been a longtime coming, but let’s be real, Wattpad doesn’t want to be a fanfiction site anymore and this is going to be where we start seeing fanfic accounts be pushed out if people don’t jump ship first.

Hey all, 
          
          At the end of the month I’ll be removing all works from Wattpad. I’ve spent 12 years building any sort of following, so it hasn’t been an easy decision to make. I’m not trying to punish any readers (hence the notice before leaving) so I’m sorry, but I’m happy to speak about what’s going on off platform if you’re unaware. I don’t want to be removed before fans who want to have a chance to find me on other platforms.

I’m already crying because of Otakuwu and now I’m crying even harder. I’m really going to miss your amazing writing but I promise to support you on AO3 (still on the waitlist though) it’s been amazing reading all your stories and watching you grow. Ive been reading your work since Inflatable Hearts (I think) and you’ve become kinda of a comfort writer for me.
