A former math professor, I turned to creative writing about fifteen years ago. My fiction and creative nonfiction have appeared in literary journals. Two short stories have won awards in writing competitions, and my story "Dixie Dawn" was a finalist in the prestigious Black Warrior Review Fiction Contest.

And occasionally I have the urge to fanfiction :-)
