When I was young and my older sister was being a bully...as most big siblings are prone to being from time to time...I picked up my very first book 'Goodbye Moon' given to me by a teacher at school and had my mom read it to me.

      By the time mom had finished reading the last page all thoughts of my sister and whatever she said or did to make me upset had fled my mind.

        When I started learn to read on my own I would dive into these  fantasical fantasy worlds such as 'Harry Potter' and 'Fablehaven' and not move for hours until I would finish the book.

       In fact I was the type of child who would get mad at my mom when she tried to get me to stop reading.

        Today I still love to read just about anything that I can get my hands on....and I much prefer spending a quiet evening reading a good book...only now I enjoy writing as well.

        The biggest supporter of my writing is my baby sister Idalia who I always keep in mind whenever my fingers fly around the keyboard in a creative fevor.
