@astrosquid_ I actually have three pretty good ones in my library and a couple of decent ones. You're not wrong. I've been reading creepypasta since before they were extremely popular and I've wanted to write some but I always feel like I don't do a decent job so I always end up deleting them. It is pretty difficult.

imo, creepypasta is a great way to get amateur horror writers in a community with a lot of feedback, which is where most of the stories are posted. but most of the popular ones (excluding marble hornets, which is an incredible video series and great horror, and probably also the original blair witch) are pretty bad. problem with amateur horror writers is that they go for the most over the top gore to be scary and dont use any actual writing devices to make it scary or interesting, because suspension of disbelief can only stretch so far. but its whatever, theyre still learning. some creepypasta is a diamond in the rough, though.
