          	  All he heard were tongues being compared to tentacles and a false statement about them growing back.
          	  
          	  So in fact,he heard everything. But he wished he hadn't.
          	  
          	  It was impossible. Over the years of working at a fast food restaurant and living in an,odd and quite irritating neighborhood,you'd think his ears have picked up an ability to block all the stupidity he heard.
          	  
          	  Well,not exactly. The opposite occured,to be frank. Overhearing morons has become his superpower. How unfortunate. This /one/ thing he was talented at,and he despised it.
          	  
          	  ' You can never win,Squiddy. '
          	  
          	  He said,to no one ever. It was part of his inner monologue. Don't bother.
          	  
          	  ' Do yourself a favor and just drag yourself along,pretend you never heard any of this moronic conversation. '
          	  
          	  He noted yet again,his eyelids slipping narrow to be squinting at the two,despite his earlier suggestion to himself and his slim arms shortly moved to be folded over his chest.
          	  
          	  Oh yeah. The judgemental look. He was giving it.
          	  
          	  It was hard to hold himself back from commenting now.

No commander in sight, this seems like a good chance to slither onto the stool next to the officer. Sneaky? Not really. He did hear three  other troopers murmur something under their breath, visible grins on their faces as they took glances into their general direction. But Laika didn't mind; it's not like he was crossing boundaries by approaching Fox, nor would Husky mind him doing so. But he still tried being careful, just in case. 
          
          He was pretty much just sitting there, staring at the walls. He probably didn't realize that the other next to him did take a glance at him, cue small tilt of his helmet.
