Being a writer is akin to spitting on the dreams of your mother and father have for you and running away from life and being a hippie. Too dramatic? Not really so I got a regular life and regular job.

Writing in secret became my refuge and I moved from notebooks to digital now to the internet. I would love this app to be on Windows phones since the people at Microsoft also make the all important writers tool known as Word, I joined the Windows phone digital tribe and I would spend all my free time on my phone not to play video games, Facebook or twitter updates, I'd use it to continue my character adventure in romance.
 My pen name is Dia Martin, and it comes from the advise of an astrologer my mother consulted in India. She was told I was named wrong and my name should have been Diya, the Hindu word for light. It's specifically a little oil lamp. Took the name and respelled it as it sounds and liked the literary reference from a children's book that I loved. If you figure out which one I will only confirm you are right. Otherwise I'm not telling you a thing;-)
