Does anyone else remember Hot Wheels: World Race and Acceleracers, or is it just me? Its been about 20 years now since Acceleracers was cancelled before the final movie could be made.
Anyway, here's a story prompt for any other authors who would want to write it. My Hero Academia x Acceleracers. Basic premise with Izuku being one of the racers from the World Race and all that. Core of the story could be Izukus "hero" mentality shining through his driving as he never became a hero and now he has to save the world from Galorum and her drones.
One key for drama would be that Izuku's car, one he designed/ built himself and put all of his heart into gets destroyed.
I'd write it myself, and to be honest I want to, but I want to focus on what I have now and I still need to write like 3 chapters for my DCSHG 2019 x MHA story. So like I said, any other authors who want to use the prompt go ahead.

@UltraDurgon3 Not gonna argue with that, its honestly pretty clear that Tezla cared more for the drivers' results and not the drivers themselves. Though in The Ultimate Race, Tezla was willing to sacrifice himself to destroy the drones and used himself to distract Gelorum so Vert could get to the garage but that could've just been his way of avoiding consequences. Like I said, limited information about what the final movie would've included and we'll never know how everything ended. But I really do want to write or read a crossover of Acceleracers and MHA, one does exist on AO3 but its only like 3 chapters long and doesn't really have much of a plot in itself. I also have no idea how i'd actually write the races, and all of that. Kind of depends how it can be interpreted.

@DiabloDrago Tesla purposely put nolo and torque, Kurt and wylde in the same tracks just because they had fridges against each other or one had it out for the other. I'm with Kurt that I don't trust him much

@UltraDurgon3 The things I know are from limited research I could find from statements from people who worked on the project, but I'm pretty sure someone who worked on the show said that the Silencerz were meant to be somewhat neutral but i don't really know. Tezla was a member before he stole their technology for some unknown reason, and Tezla was only ever concerned about research the Accelerons and stopping the drones. Only giving the drivers the EDR after they started gathering accelechargers, with Lani Tam seemingly knowing about the EDR the entire time this was going on or Tezla never told her about it despite how long she was working with him. One of the racers was Banjee Castillo from the World Race, who's car was seen in the Swamp Realm leading to the theory that realms can be reopened or will open again if someone doesn't win them. But yeah no one really knows the Silencerz goal nor Tezla's. But Tezla might've gotten a redemption arc if the final movie was made. Still sucks we'll never really know.
