Today is an unfortunate day. I learned from my close friend that Rachael Lillis passed away as of August 10th from cancer at the age of 55. I was beyond devastated that I couldn’t believe it. 
          She’s widely known for her English voice role as Misty and Jessie in the OG season of Pokémon. 
          
          Several great people passed this year and now Rachael Lillis. I remember watching Pokémon on the VHS as a kid while I played Pokémon Red on the green Gameboy. You’ll never be forgotten Rachael and you'll be immortalized among the stars.

I’m still processing this information of the sad news I’ve been hit with today. There was a large thunderstorm in my area that lasted for many hours, I didn’t think much of the odd feeling during that period but as of now, it hit harder.
          
          Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragonball and character designer of Dragonquest has passed away at the age of 68 on March 1st. 
          
          I remember training in WTF Tae Kwon Do and watch Dragonball after coming back home. Pokémon, Dragonball and Yu Yu Hakusho is what started my journey into Manga and Anime. 
          
          Akira Toriyama is a legendary figure in the manga and anime community whose works have captivated, united and inspired those who read or watch his works from around the globe. This is truly an end of an era but true death is when people forget who you are. 
          Akira Toriyama, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. 
          
          May the flying nimbus guide you to the Otherworld as you find rest in your new adventure.
