Alongside the next chapter releasing at 6:00 PM Pacific Time today, I am finally working on the structure / timeline of this story [which has been a long time coming!] I've been brainstorming a lot and I've got a pretty good idea down as to where I want things.
          
          As a little extra, I am also going to be working on a reference for Caine's robotic appearance + future outfit.

Just a heads up! I'm planning on the next chapter being bigger than the others, since it'll have an important event, so the release date might be pushed beyond Friday.

OKAY SO I have further revisions to work on for the next chapter, so I'll be taking an extra hour or two and ALSO THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE A DRONE ANT FLYING AROUND MY ROOM AND I'M VERY SCARED OF ANTS AND I LAST SAW IT ON MY DESK BUT IT'S GONE NOW. even if it isn't a flying ant it's still an ANT that MIGHT BE CRAWLING ON MY KEYBOARD RIGHT NOW SO I NEED A MINUTE

Second chapter will be coming out on Friday, same time as before: 6:00 PM Pacific Time.
          
          Now that my head's in the clear, here are some other highlights from the vacation:
          
          A triangular shaped stone that I found from a craggy cliff. It had red, white and yellow coloration.
          
          The top mantle shell of a crab, which my sister spotted in the sand. A little cracked but beautiful nonetheless.
          
          Also I was not expecting this in the slightest, since we were out on the beach. But we were all scampering around in the sand when a western bumblebee just- flew up to my skirt and landed on it. Genuinely did not expect that. It then took off and floated away in the wind. It was so cute too, very fluffy and round.
          
          Good news is that we're going a second time for June!

ALRIGHTY! That was one HELL of a trip! Most of the trips I take are local camping sites, but this time we went on a two hour drive to the coast and back. I'm a little dizzy and shaken up right now so I might need the whole week to recover, but I may or may not get back on my feet for the second chapter sooner. We'll see!
          
          On the beach we got to see two seagulls fighting for a piece of food mid-air, and then THREE MORE GULLS joined in the scuffle. We got some pretty cool shots of that.
          
          On Friday night we watched the sunset and got to see the planet Venus, RIGHT over the Belt of Venus—if you don't know what that is, search it up! It's very pretty—We also saw Jupiter in the sky and the Big Dipper which was right at the top. The wet sand and the light from the Belt of Venus made this really cool, almost mirrored effect on the ground, so it looked like a dark rainbow stretching across the beach.
          
          The food there was very nice as well, most notably the blueberry pancakes.
          
          The aquarium... Whoof... Not so much. The building was made way too small and most of the aquarium was just those water tunnels that were cramped and what with the SWARM of people coming in on Saturday, I still feel topsy turvy from that crowd. Luckily we got out of there pretty quick though, and I snapped a few photos of puffins and a barn swallow that took rest on the ground. As well as a couple of fish.
          
          There is a lot more that I can talk about, but I'll save that for a future post when my brain is more stable. Now, on another note!
          
          Thank you all SO MUCH for the reception of Synthesize. It was quite the pleasant surprise with how much of you liked it! I'll be posting Synthesize on Ao3 at SOME point, but I much prefer having my work be posted here first as a crash test. Maybe at the half-way mark or when it's finished it'll slowly roll out over there.
          
          Time to sleep for the rest of the day...

My fan fiction will finally be released on Friday, 6 PM Pacific Time!
          I will also be going on vacation with my family to the coast for Friday and Saturday. I'll bring my findings back here!

Happy holidays everyone! This December was very wonderful and I am looking forward for many more months. I managed to be a little more active in my artistic endeavors lately, and I have been enjoying it plenty. I decided that I want to dabble into commissions in the far future and use a few years of practice for art! May your days of cheer work in your favor. <3
