          Coincidentally, as this year wraps up and a new one starts, this chapter is the start of a big rollercoaster for our characters. The beginning of a storm. I hadn’t planned it, but it’s kinda poetic

Yesterday was my birthday! 
          And with my birthday comes a new chapter!! 
          
          Hopefully by tonight it’ll be out... finally 
          
          Here’s the thing, I’ve finished this chapter since Valentine’s Day (which was when I was planning to post it) but then there was this part that I wanted to fix that took me so long. I don’t know why, but it was a hard part for me to write. 
          
          Also, editing took me so long because I kept procrastinating *rolls eyes* typical me. 
          
          But I’m posting this to hold myself accountable. 
          
          So keep a look out for chapter 6... Travis is back 

After so long, ladies and gents....
          Chapter 1 of ‘Nicotine’ is finally up. I’m so excited yet nervous for everyone to read more about Jamie and Travis’s journey. 
          
          I hope you guys will fall in love with these characters as much as I have! And I hope that the roller coaster ahead of you will be as fun and confusing and emotional as I wish it to me! 
          
          My uploads, unfortunately, won’t be scheduled. They might take time and for that I’ll apologize. Through quarantine I worked on trying to perfect the plot and get a head start on writing, but I’m still a perfectionist who will read and re-read a chapter one hundred times before posting it. And amongst writing, I do a lot of things so my time is spread thin. 
          Moral of this all, please be patient with me.

          It's been a long time! I know. 
          So, in four days I will be unpublishing 'State of Grace'.  I'd already announced this on instagram, so if you'd like, you can follow me @diala.writer for more announcements. Anyways, like I just said, on the 4th of March, I will be unpublishing 'State of Grace' and announcing the title, cover, and exerpt of my new story. Later on, I will annouce the release date.

          Bad news! 
          I spilled coffee on my laptop... 
          that’s where half of my new chapter is.. and it’s not written on Wattpad but rather on the Microsoft Word  
          I have a hard copy of the chapter though, so if the repair takes too long, I’ll rewrite it on my phone. 
          
          I hope it doesn’t take too long! :(
