We did get to have a small funeral for her. Just her parents, her sister, me and Blake. Hardest thing I've ever done. Now that we're back at school, our class is making a memorial for her. I will be putting my speech on it, and I will be using that same speech for the competition next term. And I think it would be nice -only if you want to- to put a message from you guys, her online friends, up on that board. Because as much as people tell you different, I consider you all closer to Grace and I than most people in my real life.
          
          On the call with Grace, she told us she knew she was going to die. And she thanked us for giving her a good time. Then she said to me, she had sent me a doc with details of her character and a first chapter for her story, Spirit Animals: Era of Grandeur. She hadn't settled on a surname for this girl, Evette Jade, and I'm going to keep it that way.
          
          I think it would be nice to include some of your characters. So if you have any characters that you can think of a way to work them in, no Great Beasts. Also, she was going to put out a character call so I'm going to do that here.

          -16 years old (This story people have their Nectar at 16)

So, yeah, I really haven't been on in a while. My life has been a roller coaster that's flown off the tracks. And I'm sorry for that, it's just been hard. All this school stuff, grief and I have a hamster now. 
          
          As I said, yeah, grief. You may of noticed that Grace stopped going on Wattpad shortly after I did. Those days before she did, I was just doing some cooking and I had this big art project during lockdown. But then... Grace got Covid-19. She was hospitalized straight away. She probably didn't tell you this, but she has really bad asthma, tourette's, croup and some other disease's.
          
          For the first weeks, no one heard from her. Not even her parents we're allowed to visit, though they had regular updates. Finally, after three weeks, we got a video call from her, Blake and I. They never would of told her why she got to call us, but she knew. She was dying. Now believe me, the worst fear I have ever felt is looking at my best friend through a phone, with all these tubes sticking out of her, knowing she was going to die. That I would never get to see her personally again. Ever. But, Blake and I, we held back our tears. I didn't know why at the time, but now I do. Because we didn't want Grace's last memory of us to be us sobbing for her. So, we gave her some happy ones. We told jokes, we played games through our phones, we told stories.
          
          And after that call ended... we never heard from her again. She was gone. My best friend, since birth, was gone.
