@Diamondragon23 Mine took 4 months. I had ideas based off other fics, and tons of other shit I wanna do. The arcs are rough outlines. I rewrite each arc when I get to it- Well, that's the plan at least. When I get to it, revise, see what changed and what needs to be changed. I plan for 50+ overall arcs. I will work on them more between each arc (1 month break between arcs to get the rest of the story more flushed out and to go along with everything written)
@Psiskullsis damn, 17 arcs? I think that's more than actual canon MHA has, lol. I spent about a year planning out RWBIY Book One's timeline, I'd make notes of my ideas and then mentally scrap them to start all over again. I think I've got about 5 different versions of the same story in my head at this point, and I'm cherry-picking the bits and pieces I like best.
Gotcha, I feel that. I had that issue with a lot of my other fics myself... Thus, I spent 3-4 months working on just the outline for my current fic that I'm gonna crosspost here soon. 16 Arcs have been prepared; the 17th is in the works. 2 chapters done, the 3rd is currently being worked on, and the 1st chap is posted on AO3.
So, yeah. I definitely understand needing a timeline.

Hello everyone, it's been quite a while.... I'm afraid this isn't actually my real, final return, but I felt that you at least deserved a little teaser of what exactly I've spent the last year working on.
To be perfectly honest with you, this story has been the only thing in my head since I finally got around to watching RWBY a little over a year ago. I've got Book One all planned out, I know exactly where it's going and only need to finish writing the damn thing out. It's Book Two that's giving me some trouble, but I recently had an epiphany and my urge to write has begun to come back.
I'm not sure when exactly Book One will be complete and ready for publishing, but until then I'm afraid this first chapter is all you'll have. It could be months, or even a year or two, but I promise to do my best. I am genuinely excited to share this one with you, so please bear with me a little longer.
