Greetings, everyone!
(Warning: long post)
Whoa! I can't believe it has been eight months since I last made an announcement here. Though I would occasionally check the app, it feels like a lot of time has passed since I last wandered around here. I've missed my notifications but spotted some comments on A Fairy's Tale.
First, I would like to thank you for reading and posting your comments, especially my fellow writer @kv_wilson . If you're a fan of fantasy, shapeshifting wolves, and romance with no spice, don't hesitate to check out her Spiritborne series.
I saw that @wattpad added A Fairy's Tale to their reading list. I'm honored to be included in that list. Thank you so much for featuring me.
Second, to my Astral Guardians Series readers, I've decided to self-publish the series as an e-book on Amazon KDP. I'm currently working with beta readers to publish the best version and I've requested a new cover. I'll give you more details as the publishing date approaches.
Lastly, since I've spent time querying and editing The Betrayal of the Guardians multiple times, I've peeked wattpad to see if the prompts for Open Novella Contest 2025 would push me to write something.
It took me a while, but I found two perfect prompts (prompts 7 and 31) to help me expand an idea that popped into my head last year.
Though this new story features magic and a magical creature stuck on Earth who helps a teenager find herself until he fully recovers his powers, it won't be as action/adventure-heavy as my usual works.
I hope my attempt at writing something different won't be a disappointment :p. The prologue is live to read:

Happy Reading!
To my fellow writers, are you joining the Open Novella Contest this year, too?
Have a wonderful day, everyone,
-Diana
