Great idea, "eagle!" Maybe, no taking off points. Just do your out of five idea, but out of ten. It's easier that way!

Your idea is good, but I hate taking points off for spelling because I suck at spelling, but I'm fine with your idea just no taking off of spelling.

Or we do letter grades. It's out of 25, but if there's improper punctuation, you lose a point, spelling errors, lose a point, and esc. So, each error is 4 points off, but if we like the story, we can add points. Sound okay? I like yours, but I'm just putting out ideas! :)

How should we grade the stories. I was thinking a 5 to 0 scale. Where 5 is the best and 0 is the worst.
