I have been writing for my own entertainment for decades.  My public exposure has usually been in the role of emcee for community events, including charities, music festivals, and the mayor's innaugural gala.  I write all my own mateial for these events.  I also do public speaking on my life-long journey through the peaks and valleys of compromised mental wellness.  I live with depression and anxiety, and writing is a great outlet.

Recently, I've discovered that most of my works fit into the genre of absurdist humour.  I'm not a fan of labels, as there is wide continuum of writing that takes liberties with reality.  

My non-writing habits include kayaking, hiking, cosplay, and working in the field of homelessness.  As an improv comedian, I performed and led workshops for adults, as well as for vulnerable kids at a local youth centre.
