My thoughts on updates from JNJ:
Honestly, BFDIE is pretty good! It’s the first episode, so I don’t really have an opinion on any of the characters (i feel like I like fern and jammy better than any of the others). I like the idea of shorter episodes with no lore for the viewers, gives us a little break from the lore heavy story. Weekly as well? Give it all to me!
I can say, 32-hours of streaming just for an 8 minute video is sorta… unnecessary. Like, you didn’t need to do all of that just to delete it afterwards-
And for the TPOT episode in theaters, I get the complaints from people. It’s pretty unimportant to put it in theaters over and over. That’s just wasting money and people could just watch it at home. But then again, that is a big accomplishment for indie animation, especially 3 times(?) in a row. It’s proving that indie studios are coming on top, and who knows? Maybe it can beat Disney itself.

I'm taking my gf even though she hasn't watched what she needs to (she started the series with tpot 20 so yay!!
