You left out Henry Lau...*sad face*
Hi. I saw a comment you wrote in January, 2020 asking Snape75 if she knew any good gay french books to read.

Have you heard of Marcel Proust?

He was a brilliant gay young French writer who wrote some of the most beautiful stories and poems.

In the 1890's he wrote a short collection of stories and put them together in a book called, "Plaisirs et les jours" - in English this is called, "Pleasure and Days."

What wasn't known back then was that Marcel had written a series of stories of a certain nature ( rather homosexual in nature ) and they weren't exactly for the audience of that era.

However, these 9 stories were discovered by an avid specialist of Marcel's work called Bernard De Fallois.

Last year, there was talk about them being published 97 years after Marcel Proust's death, in October, 2019.

The title of the book is "Le Mystérieux Correspondent" or "The Mysterious Correspondant."

I believe there is nine short stories in total.

These stories are a mixture of fairytales, dialogue with the dead, and fantasy which only goes to show, or rather highlight, his brilliance with the written work.

I'm sure if you google, "Lost Proust stories of Homosexual love finally published," you will find more than what I have shared.

I have a certain fondness for his style of writing. I hope you like him, too.
