Thank goodness the Megadeth fan community doesn’t have a significant section of fans who make an entire personality trait out of hating the “politically controversial” member (though in this case it is the lead singer… so there’s that).

@DieDeadEnovgh the band members have said many times that they are less of a political band and more of a band who just says what they want, writes songs about whatever they please. hence half of the songs that are funny, about sex and prostitution, about sad stuff, etc.. like soad fans, pls, listen to the damn members especially daron, who says to this day to stop bejng a meat rider and putting yourself into political parties (left or right) and to just think freely 

@sm4llwrld Some of the fans really take the political part of SOAD to heart and inject it into everything related to the band… the ones on Reddit tend to do this. But the truth is that 3 out of 4 of the actual band members don’t view the band as having a specific political agenda and/or don’t actually identify as leftists.

soad fans are ruthless bro, even to the damn members. theyre so mean in comment sections, i remember once serj was getting gore spammed on his twitter cuz of the nft situation (he was arguing with people a lot).
            
            but anyways, people shouldnt care about what sings u are or arent into?? why do they care
