I think I'm Bi, but more leaning to liking men? My parents are gonna kill me if they found out.

Thank goodness I haven't fell for that girl courting me. Turns out she given up on me cuz of her family not wanting me... Apparently, the cause is because of our different religion; her family thinks I might force my beliefs on her. 
          
          I mean, she could've said that "How about I bring him here before you judge him?" But nope, just a religion problem (we actually share same beliefs, just different practices) and she gave up.
          
          She might mot be the one for me then... Or is she? You know what, I'll be the one to fights on this (budding?) relationship, confront her parents, and give them assurance that I'll not force my religion, or anything, on her (which I definitely will not do, why would I force her?) and I'm a good guy (I am, yepp, I am). Damm her making me quite attached.
          
          I mean, she's the first—nvm, she's the second one—to confess to me and indulge in my things. And she had the right to just give up? No girl, there's bo giving up, we gonna fight hahahaha!
          
          No, I did not fell in love with her, but she already took my interest when she confessed to me, and I don't want my energy wasted for nothing. Therefore, I'll put more energy for her, quite gambling to see whether she'll really give up.
          
          But if she would really give up, then so be it! I'll be just disappointed I put my energy on her when I could use it on my studies. It's not like she'll be the only woman in the world, I'm sure I can stumble on someone that won't give up.

When I see a story with a story description like this: "This is my first attempt at making a story, so bear with me." ...
          
          Me: Why would I? Huh? There's even no "please"? I don't even know you, so why would I waste my time reading a story with a high chance of being bad?
          
          *Gives the story a chance to be read. Sees bad grammar. Sees huge wall of texts. Sees it's only composed of dialogue and minimal narrator.
          
          Me: With a story this bad, why would I need to bear with you when I can read a better story? I hope you get better at writing tho. However, farewell for now, I'll not read a story that would cause me headache 

Me: *Sees a humongous wall of texts, "Who even reads this???"

When a fanfiction is just too good that you'll tolerate it being a reader insert...

I read a comment in Facebook, on a compilation videos of what the youths, young people, teens, and such, are doing online in our country, by Jasmin Evangelista (not sure if they're the one who wrote it or it's copy pasted but eh) about Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippine National Hero, and one of his famous quotes, "Youth is the future of the country", and it says:
          
          Imagine nagtime travel si Dr. Jose Rizal sa panahon natin ngayon at nakita ang
          
          Mga naninigarilyong kabataan
          Mga kabataang maagang nabuntis
          Mga batang walang pake kung ano ang mga sinasabe nila na kabastusan
          
          Then napaiyak sya habang sinabing
          "ito na ba ang bansa na aking pinaglaban noon?"
          "ito na ba ang bansa na aking sinilangan?"
          "hindi ba't sinabi ko na ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan?"

          Which loosely translates to:
          
          Imagine Dr. Jose Rizal time travelled to the present and saw:
          
          Youths smokers, young girls having early pregnancies, young people who doesn't care whether they say something immodest.
          
          Then he'll cry saying:
          "Is this what I fought for before?"
          "Is this the country I was born?"
          "Didn't I say the youth is the future of the country?"
          "This is not the same as before"
          
          ...
          
          
          This could be a great story trope! I hope someone write one or else I'll do it! It could also be a wake-up call to the youth these days!
