Here’s a realization I had the other day while doing history homework:
History isn’t even us learning about the past so it doesn’t repeat itself. It’s us learning about a bunch of crap people did and having grudges against dead people.

@FandomGirl011 no not even that: just people holding grudges. Like, the Civil War? That whole war started because the south had a weird grudge on black people. And we still hold grudges over those farmers (which more likely then not some of my ancestors unfortunately) who are all long dead

So writing prompt I just saw that I need one of y’all to do. So we all know how in most fantasy books the protagonist is like, 12-16 right? Well what if the main villain, instead of fighting the protagonist, just adopts them.
Like the villain genuinely feels bad for this preteen kid who was sent by some deity to fight THEM, a being that’s existed for 1000 of years and knows all sorts of dark magic. This process just keeps repeating with every kid that is sent.
