Wrote out of sheer sadness. The overwhelming number of insta reels villainising MS for that fateful sf, accusing him of deliberately losing that match, bringing up that match to drag him everyday on Instagram, an entire generation of young kids has been radicalised. Yes, he is the villain you were desparately looking for. The man who missed his daughter's birth for the world cup, the man who had to leave for Army camp to cope with the semi final loss and the guilt deliberately lost it because he didn't want Virat to have the glory. The same Virat whom he had handed the reigns and said that his team will win more matches than him. Yeah, MS was jealous of... Virat. https://www.wattpad.com/story/329311486
@Soulneedstories MS never wins does he? If he prioritises Indian team over his daughter's birth he is a bad husband and father. If he shows some aggression for CSK or even hits few sixes, he is more passionate for yellow team than India. If India wins 3 icc trophies in his captaincy, it was the whole team, MS doesnt deserve credit. If India loses overseas tests in his captaincy, suddenly the team isn't there to bear the credit of losses, it was all because of MS. If MS loses friends for giving chances to youngsters, he is a bad friend (ironic when it is brought by the fans of those who had backed). If MS retires at 33 to hand over the team to the man who felt was ready, he is a coward who ran away mid series. If MS waits and plays till 2019 wc, he is selfish for dragging his career. MS brings in Jadeja and Ashwin in the team despite protests from Indians fans and media calling it CSK quota, but when this brings fruits and these two are the biggest stalwarts of test cricket, he is a credit stealer. Phew, I can go on and on...
@DilSeRe_ It's truly heartbreaking to see him being dragged unnecessarily, even during the ongoing Test matches. The constant comparisons between his and Rohit's legacy as Test captains are completely uncalled for. What’s even more upsetting is how people bring up personal moments, like how he missed his daughter's birth. Some even go as far as saying, "He's not a good husband. Who leaves their wife in such a condition?" Seriously? If his wife has no issue with it, why should anyone else? And the claims about him being jealous of Virat? I’m honestly tired of arguing about this, both online and offline, and even with my friends. It’s just exhausting at this point.
