alexandera brushed her hair away from her eye. she looked at the boy with the journal through the trees, grinning. he looked like just the type who would investigate here. she, herself, liked to wonder in the woods by the mystery shack. she'd almost got kidnapped by gnomes once. that was..an odd experience.

she walked out of the tree line, walking up to him. " heya! " she waved, smiling. " i'm alexandera russo. "

/ aAa sorry, i forgot to specify, but yeah, dipper. and we don't even have coronavirus in our county, but our governor decided to shut everything down for some reason?? we cant even go eat out

" i just like it out here! this whole town's just so weird, and it's so cool to find all these...creatures, i guess? " alexandera tucked her hands in her pockets, bouncing back and forth on her heels. " and, it's nice to meet you, pine tree. " unbeknownst to her that that was cipher's nickname for him, she'd caught sight of his hat and thought it was a cute nickname. dipstick had been another choice, but that sounded kinda stupid. " well, i haven't seen you 'round here before, you just moved here or someth'n'? " she had a slight country accent. she'd moved to gravity falls from a small town in south carolina. " 'cause you couldn't have picked a better place! " seriously, alex adored gravity falls. it was just so weird, and mysterious, and a bit creepy at times, but it felt like home.

[ Ah. Well, my day has been very good. I still don’t have online classes yet, because I live in a place where the Coronavirus isn’t particularly big yet. Also, you didn’t specify so I am going to assume you want normal Dipper over Bipper. They are two completely different personalities I enjoy RPing. ]

Dipper had come out of the Mystery Shack in order to have a change of pace whilst reading. There was something about the atmosphere of reading in a tranquil spot in a lush forest that just... Appealed to him.

However, that tranquillity was soon disturbed when out of nowhere, there was a voice right behind him. The young boy almost jumped out of his own skin in shock, tucking the book he had underneath his jacket and slowly looking up to face the person talking to him, adjusting his Pinetree hat as he did so.
“Oh. H-Hey. My name’s Dipper. Dipper Pines. What are you doing out here in the forest?”

Frozen onto the spot as she approached him, Dipper’s eyes glazed over in both fear and hesitation. There was something terrifying about her presence that reminded him of Bill. The singular eye that remained unblinking, the cold and calculated expression. It felt all too familiar. However, beyond that veil was something else. The familiarity of his sister, Mabel. There was something about the way she looked at him and the striking resemblance in their appearances that made Dipper want to know more about her.

“Gideon Pines? H-His surname is Gleeful. Pines is my surname. I don’t know what you’re talking about, Gideon runs the Tent of Telepathy. Well... He did. We went to one of his shows and he tried to get with my sister.”

However, she didn’t seem to be lying. There was a conviction in her eyes that said so but if she was telling the truth and yet everything she had just said was so contradictory. Was this... Another reality? It was entirely possible, considering the portal underneath the Mystery Shack. Maybe this was another world within the blue swirling mess that was their portal.

“I- You’re not from around here, are you? I’ve never seen you around Gravity Falls and you look like someone else. You’d think that if someone looked kind of like me, I’d know.”

Almost immediately, Dipper flinched at the use of his real name. There was no doubt in his mind that there was no way that this was his sister. Even if Mabel was able to put on a facade such as this, she knew all too well the distaste he had for his name. She would never purposefully treat him with such scorn. Carefully adjusting the navy blue pine tree hat that laid upon his head and firmly adjusting the grip on the Journal that laid in his arms.
“You’re not my sister either.. How do you know my name? Why are you dressed like Gideon? Are you one of his friends?”

Once his racing mind came to the conclusion that this woman standing in front of him was dangerous, he nervously took a step back, eyeing up the eyepatch she adorned, as well as the amulet. It was the same as the one destroyed by Mabel when they both fought Gideon. If anything, he looked to be nervous and he stood as though a fight was about to break out. He was already sweating and quickly eyed up the idea of going back to the Mystery Shack. It seemed appealing.

[ *grabs a piece of paper, turns it into an aeroplane that lands in your notifications that says ‘love you too’* ]

Dipper Pines knew nothing of parallel universes. The long time threat Bill Cipher had been the only dream demon that plagued Gravity Falls for a long time and even then, there was no evidence to suggest such theories were possible. Living in the Mystery Shack wasn’t as melancholy as he first predicted, he had a lot of freedom to do as he pleased. Even if it meant that he and Mabel were a bit too independent and it became chaotic. He still loved the adventures they went on. So when he grabbed his trusty blue pine tree cap and the Journal was tucked underneath his arm in order to sneak out to learn more about Gravity Falls and its treasured trove of secrets, he was not expecting to see someone that looked exactly like his sister Mabel. Maybe this was one of her overly extravagant pranks? From the depths of his subconscious, something told him that that wasn’t quite right. Swallowing his hesitation and trying not to stutter, Dipper plucked up his courage and spoke.
“Umm. Mabel, if this is another of your pranks, it’s not funny. Gideon tried to take over the town and the Mystery Shack.”

As he looked around for a moment, his rather happy expression dropped to something a little more serious than he was used to. Patton seemed legitimately concerned about his friend.
