Please consider reading this if you are involved with the Dandy’s World game or fandom.
I’ve noticed that after Qwel’s most recent announcement (that she will be stepping back), a lot of people have gone back to playing the game.
Im just asking that anyone reading this please have some patience. Qwel did not say she is stepping “down”, but that she is stepping “back.”
This means that she intends to step back up at some point, and also that she may still be involved with the game and most likely is still profiting from it.
In reality, very little regarding the situation has actually changed, yet people are treating it as if it has.
This may not be what anyone wants to hear, but I do want to make that specification clear.

There’s a lot of good and similar games out there too if anyone would like something similar! While I haven’t tried them all- I’ll list some ones I know of down below for anyone interested
Dollys Factory is a very good one, while I haven’t played it much myself, and it won’t be getting updated anymore- it’s still out there to play, and has some *beautiful* skins and characters!
There’s also Toons Universe, another very, very similar game- I’d suggest this one the most if you’re favorite thing from DW is the characters, it’s not updated quite as frequently so it does have less content compared to others on this list- it’s still very enjoyable in my opinion
Then there’s also Warden- released by the same developers as Creatures of Sonaria, Dragon Adventures and any other sonar studios game, it’s got a *lot* of content despite being released only about a month ago I think? It’s got some distracting potential if you’re interested in that, but it is more difficult to distract in my opinion, but it’s got a buncha lore you can find, characters, weekly updates- all that
My personal favorite from this list would be Clean Crew which is somewhat similar- but probably the most different from DW out of all these games, it has a lot of variable content, and while it only have 8 floors compared to the other’s endless floors, it’s quite difficult (and fun) to get to the finale… but there’d be a lot of spoilers if I talked too much more into it- but it’s by far my favorite
I believe there’s also a game titled “Dandy’s World Plus” which, I haven’t tried myself- but it’s supposed to essentially be a copy of DW, while adding in a few new characters, skins, stickers and events, from what I know it’s still essientally just like DW, and most items, characters and whatnot come for free!
And I’m sure there is *many* others out there, so anyone can feel free to add on some more, or to look around until you find one you’d like, these are just some I know more about

Got a new job, working as veterinarian’s assistant at local vet clinic. I’ve met so many chihuahuas that look genuinely as if they’ve been taking drugs for 20 years and I can say with certainty that they scare me more than the Rottweilers ever will
I’ve started a few projects in my community recently and I was just informed by a friend this morning that someone wrote an article in the newspaper about me wtf-
Got a new baby cousin, and I WILL be teaching it how to identify frogs from their calls as soon as it can form words
Rn all it does is sleep on me
A friend passed away from an illness but that was kinda a while ago idk
And I’ve been tryna raise tadpoles into frogs for like a year now but they always die before reaching a month old and I think I might just be cursed or smth
I’ve also been keeping myself busy with some summer classes and ofc photographing different amphibians and insects I find at local parks.
Even if you’re struggling with mental health, try to find little things to do that make you happy. You may discover a new passion that keeps you going for a bit.
