I’m really liking this take on Y/N—someone so detached that only one person can penetrate the shell. You wrote his attitude well; I don't even hate him for it because it feels so intentional and unique.
I do have a specific idea I hope to see, though it's just a thought that came up while reading. I hope Kei's indifference reaches a boiling point where the others stage an intervention to guide him back to being "more alive."
In the new chapter, for example: what if this unfamiliar feeling causes him to detach even further? He might retreat out of fear of not knowing how to handle something he’s never felt. For the longest time, he has lived in a way he created as a solution to a lifelong problem—a bare-minimum existence that uses the least energy possible and treats himself as a "tool."
But now, that blunt indifference is acting like a wall, preventing any attachments beyond Forever Young. He’s even buting heads with beloved characters, essentially becoming a "bad guy" to them. His entire philosophy is being challenged, and he doesn’t know how to respond because his "logical and efficient" (Shockwave Kei) way of life is finally failing him. The internal friction there is fascinating.
Even if it doesn't lead to further detachment, I really hope for an intervention chapter focused on his way of life. Other than that, keep up the good work!
