I was such a sad little person when I wrote my Riverdale fics. I revisit them from time to time and get so upset reading the author’s notes cuz I didn’t deserve to feel like that at such a young age. 
          
          I’m really thankful I had this app as an outlet when I needed it, and even more thankful for all of the friends I made on here. It’s insane how my passion for writing started here and now I’ve won… awards. I’m published. One of my screenplays got picked up for a short film. I’m a mentor. Like, that’s crazy??
          
          People can diminish this app and fanfiction all they want to, but it means everything to me. Everyone who has ever read a word I wrote means everything to me. 
          
          I just graduated college and am entering the rest of my life and all roads always seem to lead back here somehow lol. I think downloading this app is the best thing I’ve ever done.

I just got annoyed with a fic today in another  fandom because the characters were acting nothing like their canon personalities and then I had to take a step back and remember every fanfic I wrote on this app was just an oc with Riverdale names plastered on top of them 

Hey y’all it’s been a long time ahaha but I’m writing a kiribaku fanfic on AO3 under this username if anyone wants to check it out. 
          
          I don’t know if I’ll ever finish treehouse. Maybe one of these days? I’ll put it on my list before the summers over. 
          
          Update on my life, I’m officially a published author. I haven’t released a full book yet, but one of my stories got published in an anthology recently and it’s kind of a big deal because it’s a whole contract with royalties with my first and last name on the pages and they were picky about submissions and it’s my favorite story I’ve ever written so yeah :)

About to rewrite recalcitrant in an alternate universe where Archie protests for black lives matter instead of making excuses like KJ and Jughead finds it super hot because activism is sexy 

Maybe it’s a blessing that nobody really knows about melee. I like that it’s a hidden secret or else everybody would be asking me to write stuff like that all the time 

In light of recent events, I can’t bring myself to dedicate time to anything that isn’t for advocating or in support of the black lives matter movement at the moment. Please feel free to unfollow me if you disagree. I find so much power in words, and I can’t waste them on anything that doesn’t contribute to such a pressing, important matter to me right now, especially as a black American. 
          
          This accounts for my lack of response to private messages, keeping up with updates, reading some of your updates, etc. you don’t need to understand, but I hope you can lend your respect.
