Seriously ? RESET PASSWORD !!?? I CAN'T EVEN LOG-IN EARLIER EVEN THOUGH I KNOW PASSWORD AND EVERYTHING !!?
What's WRONG WITH YOU !!!?? I ALMOST PANICKED I GOT STORIES THAT I HAVEN'T PUBLISHED !!!!
A few hours back: I was instructed to reset my password... (even though nobody asked for it, nothing...Wattpad likes to troll too ?)
How can I do that if you don't let me login !!? Plus I already know my password and email. I don't have any intention of resetting it !
I encountered/come across plenty of poor users hoping to recover their account I'm somewhat lucky I managed to REVERSE ENGINEER and "DECIPHER" your INSTRUCTIONS !!!!
For those who are not aware USERS WHO CANT LOG IN because Wattpad asked you to Reset Password for NO APPARENT REASON !!!
1.) Click Forgot Password.
2.) Enter Email/Username
3.) Try not to panic if you didn't receive their email. NO ! START PANICKING !!! IF THERE'S NONE IN YOUR INBOX
4.) Okay calm down (sigh) you just need to SEARCH EVERYWHERE (trash, archives, etc). As for me I found it in SPAM (thanks to Reddit for giving me a CLUE). I sent them earlier two times since there's nothing in my inbox, it turns out they're sent to SPAM so check your SPAM if it was there. (Not the canned food SPAM!)
5.) Now that you found it after thousands of seconds of your life wasted, you clicked it. Then nothing happens. If it DIDN'T REDIRECT YOU just do it again and the time limit for you to catch up is ONE MINUTE (I calculated it but that's too approximate so the guess is yours. I'll say 1-2.40 minutes to be exact)
6.) After the THRILLING RACE AGAINST TIME finally it redirected you to Reset Password. Now you got to choices: Reset or Keep your original password. If you don't wanna reset it just type your lovely password.
7.) Congratulations you found the light at the end of the tunnel and got out ! Your account was saved and hopefully your stories too. G'luck !
