While not otherwise employed, I splurge prose onto a page and wonder the next morning what the hell happened. In short, I am an amateur writer, hoping to break into the business of writing in any way I can, as a novelist, screenwriter, graphic novel writer, short story writer, whatever. If that means starving for a time, so be it.
I typically do hard sci-fi, low fantasy, modern, historical, and a bit of crime fiction, though I'm happy and willing to experiment with genre and medium. Only exception to this is poetry: nothing against poems or poets, but there's a knack to it, and I don't have it.
Amateur publishing credits include three stories and an audio podcast on The Story Shack: "Drive" (story and reading), "Inked", and "The Last Song." I've also got a self-published collection of flash fiction kicking around called "Washed Out Fiction." You'll find it on here.
Comment, read, absorb; love it or hate it. I need feedback, and who would be better-placed to give it than writers and readers like yourself?
