ReidsRiddle

Hey, I have a question for you about your writing habits. lol Do you plan out/outline your stories ahead of time or do you write each chapter as you go?

            I appreciate that (and you), thank you!
            Ah, okay, that all makes sense. I didn't even think about doing a list for plot points, though, that is a good idea! One that I'm def. going to be utilizing, so thank you for sharing that with me!ッ
            I, mean, it might not be the most efficient way to write, but it seems to be working rather well for you considering your writing is the way it is (it's amazing, if you hadn't caught on to what I was implying there). Anyway, thank you so much for sharing all that with me, I genuinely appreciate it (and you)! Hope you're doing well! ‹

            Feel free to ask whatever! Kind of a mix? I typically just write it one chapter at a time. But I have main plot points for the overall story in mind, and have a document with an ongoing list of ideas that I want to incorporate at same point (my list for Joe/Julia is still sooo long lol). So usually I just try to combine a couple ideas for each chapter until it leads up to the next big plot point I wanna cover... if that makes sense?? It's probably not the most efficient way to write, but it works I guess lol. Like, I had no idea how I was gonna end The End of Beginning until I had already gotten to like chapter 50 or so. I just like the freedom of letting the story take its own course as I go. Not sure how helpful that is lol

I just want to say all three of your stories are amazing!!! i cannot get enough. Do you have a set day you update etc, I keep coming back everyday so was wondering if there is set days!! Love your stuff

Dodjo29

@blushpink2
            Thank you so much!! My schedule has been a bit all over the place while I catch up on writing. Right now, The Son of Sin is scheduled to post every Monday. Delete Ya has been a bit more random, but the next chapter should be posted tomorrow! I'm hoping to make Thursdays my post day for that one. Once I get more caught up, I'll give an update in my author's notes if I can post more frequently than that.

@Marihamaoka
            No worries! Just wanted to make sure there wasn't another site with these stories lol. I'm not great at keeping AO3 updated, so it's way far behind what's posted on here.

Hi! I just wanted to reach out and tell you I loved reading End of Beginning and will soon read Delete Ya. I downloaded the Wattpad app specifically to continue reading your stories. I had been reading through my incognito tab because I thought 41 is a bit too old to be reading these types of fanfictions. You are an excellent writer, and I am glad I stumbled across your story.

@LadyCyn7
            Hi!! Thank you for sharing that with me. That honestly means so much to hear you've been enjoying it that much. If it makes you feel any better, I'm 30 and feel I'm too old to be writing fanfiction lol. But it's a fun, creative outlet, so I don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying it at any age!

What'd you think of the finale?!

Dodjo29

Omg, it's so funny you say that. My watch was wigging out too up until that scene too lol. Honestly, I should probably rewatch the season cause I might actually enjoy it a little more not being on edge on who might die the whole time. I'm really glad Steve and Charlie were able to make amends and have that heart to heart at the end. That was so sweet. But no way, that's cool that you have those similarities with the finale! What unique coincidences!
            Wow, watching in Whistler sounds way better than a theater!! I'm sure it was beautiful and cold there lol. But seriously!! I'm more of a TV show girl over movies, but I do enjoy going to the theater. I wish they did more tv episodes in theaters!! I did go see the finale in the theater. It was a really fun experience to have a huge group of strangers to react to it together. I wish they had put the whole season in theaters lol

            Ugh, I'm so glad you enjoyed it as well! I, too, thought it was such a good ending! I was nervous after volume two as well, but yes, they def. did a good job tying everything together in the finale! Omg, yes! The parallels from season one to the finale had me sobbing! AND, YES! I know (': my heart was racing too and omg, when I tell you I began sobbing during that scene and let me just say, both my watch and Oura ring were NOT happy with me (I kept getting heart rate and stress notifications from my watch and my ring) for that entire episode but back to our man, I LOVED that Charlie's character was the one to save Joe's character. Like hellooooo?! I am beyond happy he got his happy ending too, even though it's not exactly as the way he dreamt it, it's still a form of what he wanted and for that, I'm grateful! I thought it was beautiful as well and I choose to believe that El is "chasing" waterfalls like Mike envisioned her to be doing. Omg! Also, two fun facts! On the "In Memoriam" plaque that Mike was looking at in the finale, it says "March 27, 1986", which is so cool to me because my birthday is March 27th (but 2004, not 1986 obvi lol). And second "fun fact", when Steve's coaching the team, he's wearing my go-to shoe (I think?)...If I'm right, he's wearing the white on white Nike Cortez which are my go-to sneaker and have been for three years now lol
            Also, I was traveling with my family on our annual Whistler trip, so we watched it from our Airbnb, so technically I watched it from "home", not in a theater. But, I absolutely love going to the movie theater and I hope that people continue to go to theaters because theaters are lowkey dying and that makes me absolutely saddened. What about you, though? Did you watch at home or at the theater?

            OMG I thought it was soo good. Honestly, I was a bit nervous after Volume 2, cause I had no idea how they were gonna resolve so much in two hours. But they did such a beautiful job with the ending, especially how they book-ended it with the opening of the first season.
            AND, more importantly, they did right by our man, Steve. When I tell you my heart rate was skyrocketing up until the fall scene... I'm just so happy and in disbelief that he got his happy ending.
            What did you think of it?! Did you go in theaters to see it or did you watch at home?

Dodjo29

@mikkymouseclbhse
            Oh no, that's horrible! I don't get why people are so cruel. If you don't like something, just don't read it. I hope you get your spark to share your creativity again soon!

            Lol, I totally get the fear of sharing it with people. My only silver lining is that it's anonymous so it feels low risk even if people did hate it. You never know, people may love to read your stories!

When he asked me out at first, he was wearing a backwards hat so-
            I think that's what made me say yes immediately.
