Dody Davis was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. His experiences growing up surrounded by family in the lower income, poverty stricken community allow him to bring authenticity to each and everyone of his urban characters. A man of many talents and who is an accomplished, well-known rapper adapted his gift of lyrical prose into literary greatness.
