Today, 18 years ago, 3,000 Americans were killed in the 9/11 attacks. Please remember those we lost. Pray for their families. Remember the first responders who risked their lives to look for survivors. #NeverForget911

Breaking news from Stars and Stripes magazine: US Senator and Navy veteran John McCain has died. He was 81 years old. Men like McCain are rare in today's world. Without McCain, they are even more rare.

During his time in the United States Navy, John McCain received a Silver Star, three Bronze Stars with a "V" for Valor, three Vietnam Service Medals, the POW medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.

Fair winds and smooth seas, Sailor.
          (Solemn salute)

Sorry I've been radio silent all week. I was aboard the Carnival Vista on a cruise. We sailed in commemoration of my high school graduation. On May 22nd 2018, I received my high school diploma and can now enlist in the United States Air Force!

To all veterans, past and present:
Thank you all for your sacrifice and your service!

I know a Bronze Star recipient: he was my SAI (Senior Army Instructor) in high school. My only regret is that I could not serve alongside him. He is still very much alive. Retired, but not dead.
