My name is Mercedes and I’m needing help avoiding eviction. I’m one month past due on rent due to ptsd and depression dealing with the loss of my special needs son, my only child milo. I Am currently I’m therapy and working two jobs to get caught up on utilities and July rent. I don’t have enough to catch to catch up on June rent payment. I moved to Pittsburgh to get better mentally and emotionally because I didn’t think I was going to keep living after my child died. I lost it all during the past few months and I’m getting back on track or if you know any programs able to help a black queer woman in need.
