okay, hear me out on this one (and I do mean like geniunely read through before passing judgement): I think the "1000 year old entity or whatever in childs body" thing has potential, but NOT in the "looks and acts like a child but is actually an adult" way. I mean in the "why is this toddler fighting 30 guys and winning" way.
          
          Imagine this five year old-looking entity walking into a bar, ordering an entire bottle of whiskey in perfect english, and then casually chugging the whole bottle. The bartender doesn't question it because theyre a regular. 
          
          child-looking goober curses your entire bloodline and calls you a slur. They are the strongest member of the cast and its not even close

I feel like we need a better term for misgendering. Like using they/them for a nonbinary person who doesnt use they/them is misgendering despite they/them not having any gender ties. Using he/him for a dude who doesn't use he/him is misgendering and vice versa. 
          
          Im not saying this ISNT misgendering, but the term "misgendering" is very confusing in this context, since the gender traditionally tied to those pronouns is correct. Also since pronouns as a whole can be removed from gender. Gender isnt the thing getting fumbled in this scenario, its the pronouns. While pronouns can absolutely relate to gender, and depending on the person can be part of it, this isnt always the case and much of the time pronouns =/= gender. 
          
          Using misgendering for pronouns feels like its enforciong the tie between gender and pronouns more when we should be going the opposite direction. To be clear I have no issue with calling out incorrect pronouns, absolutely should be done regardless of what said pronoun is, I just think there should be a better word for it. 
          
          Misgendering could be used for gendered terms, which would be effective in calling attention to pronouns =/= gendered terms, and to gendered terms in general. 
          
          I could totally be wrong here, I dont have that much education on the subject outside of exsiting in queer spaces a lot, so lmk if I should have tomatoes thrown at me.
