So, question: which would be better for a female protagonist? Damsel in distress at first but slowly grows to be badass? Or consistent badassery throughout the story? The answer may or may not influence a book I'm writing

@KattraKnit Thank you!!! Finally someone who agrees! A woman can be both strong, emotionally intelligent, and have a loved one she can rely on and be vulnerable with. It wouldn't make her any less strong or diminish her worth or make her weak. She can be badass, and she can still cry. Ya know? She deserves to be human, loved and have support she can rely on, and she's allowed to get tired and meed rest.

@FatedSouls2as1 Yes yes yes. Why should a strong woman have to either start out weak or never be able to relax and lean on someone?

@Doryzitter A suggestion, a strong woman who can totally be badass but also allows herself to be vulnerable with a loved one? Those stories are cool and all, but being strong all the time is downright tiring, and everyone needs support system. From a family, friend or romantic partner. Just a suggestion tho! Like "I can take care of it myself but thank you for taking it on for/with me, I appreciate it" and stands with the order person in return when they need it. Admitting you're tired and need support is a strength few have Again, just a suggestion, I just never see that anywhere lol
