Keeping everything positive isn't my thing. I like happy endings, and I hate when people do something that makes me wonder, how they will ever go back. How they will ever be trusted again. How everything can ever go back to normal. So don't ever expect that from me. Either they've always been as miserable or depressed or insane as they are at the moment and get smarter throughout the story, or they give in completely to darkness and never try to turn back.
Forgiveness as a concept isn't my cup of tea.

That being said, of course I like humour. The sarcastic type of humour rather than the embarrassing type, though. Embarrassing moments simply make me want to die.
I laugh. I can be joyful. But I find most of my inspiration in the darker moments of life. Moments where you have to stay strong or you're dead.
