The book I'm really trying to promote is Hairdresser. This particular hairdresser owns a shop in the wide spot in the road called Ridgemont. She, and a married preacher, has a great time while his wife is in the hospital having a baby. At another place in town, the leading citizen, that owns the plant where most people in the area work, is found murdered in the parking lot of the only bar in town.
